Girl Scouts Announce New Dog Treat and Allergy-Friendly Cookie for 2027
Sparkables is Girl Scouts’ first cookie for people with food allergies, and Patch Pals lets dog owners join the 2027 lineup.
Girl Scouts of the USA announced two new online-exclusive cookies for the 2027 season: Sparkables, an allergy-friendly treat for humans, and Patch Pals, a blueberry muffin-flavored snack for dogs.
Designed for families navigating food allergies, the cookies were inspired by Girl Scouts advocating for diverse community needs and to celebrate the bond between people and their pets.
The organization partnered with Partake, an allergy-friendly cookie brand, to develop Sparkables, while BARK, a dog subscription box company, created Patch Pals with blueberry muffin flavor and colorful patch designs.
Beginning Jan. 12, 2027, customers can order both items exclusively online, with boxes estimated between $6 and $7, in line with most other Girl Scout cookie varieties.
The 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season runs nationally from Jan. 16 through March 14, with cookie sales funding leadership development, STEM exploration, and community service projects for Girl Scouts.
