Researchers who explored a cave in the Sierra del Abra, in the Huasteca region of San Luis Potosí, took a surprise by encountering fossilized remains of megafauna of the Ice Age. Fossils found include mammoths, giant sloths, bison, horses and emblematic sabre-tooth tigers.
