Kumho Tire provided 15 servings of kimchi stew and protective clothing to firefighters. It was a no-show scam. Police have launched an investigation into the so-called no-show/reservation fraud in which firefighters struggling at the site of a fire at Kumho Tire's Gwangju plant were ordered food, saying they would deliver it, and then asked to purchase the items before disappearing.
