Local activists Amber Leonard and Teresa Grunewald made efforts to get involved recently, hosting a “I Have a Dream” rally and food drive on Monday, Jan. 19 at the intersection of Santa Fe Trail and Main Street, where they “exercised their first amendment rights” while also giving back to the community with a food drive. Leonard also presented an ACLU “Know Your Rights” presentation in preparation for a rally on Thursday, Jan. 15 at Mutiny.
