Famed Boxer Wanted In MD For Violating Probation: Reports
The warrant follows a judge’s denial of Davis’ latest bid to recall it after new battery and attempted kidnapping allegations.
Boxer Gervonta "Tank" Davis faces an active arrest warrant in Maryland after a judge denied a motion to recall it on May 22, stemming from probation violations.
The warrant stems from Davis's ongoing probation for a 2020 hit-and-run in Baltimore that injured four people; Circuit Judge Althea M. Handy issued the warrant on April 24.
Davis faces battery and attempted kidnapping charges involving Courtney Rossel after an October 27, 2025 incident at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami Gardens, where he was released on an $8,500 bond.
If arrested, Davis will be held without bond due to the active Maryland warrant, though the specific cause of the latest probation violation remains unclear in court records.
The World Boxing Association recently ordered Davis to fight Floyd Schofield for his lightweight belt, though the boxer has been inactive for 15 months amid legal troubles.
