Gertrude “Trudy” “Tinker” “Nana” Helms, 91, of Mechanicsville, MD, died June 2, 2026. Born February 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John William and Annie Mae (Latham) Davis. On October 6, 1955, Trudy married her childhood sweetheart, the late Homer Edgar Helms at St. John’s Francis Regis Catholic Church.
