Germany's proposal to withdraw citizenship threatens human rights

A leaked document shows that the conservative parties of Germany, the Christian Democratic Union and the Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) want to include a clause in the German Nationality Act, which allows the country to withdraw German citizenship from persons of double nationality if they are considered to be "supporters of terrorism, anti-Semites and extremists."
