The German handballers keep world champions Denmark in check for a long time, but then have to surrender. The first half is encouraging for the final match against France, but the second raises questions.
At the European Handball Championship in Scandinavia, Germany lost its main round game against Denmark with 26:31. Bundestrainer Alfred Gislason, however, emphasized on ARD television that his team also played very well.
Germany loses at the Handball-EM against the overflyers from Denmark, but this time does not receive a lesson. Fighting power and morals are right. The big goal is still to be achieved. However, a constant performance at a high level over 60 minutes has to be achieved.
Germany's handballers missed the early entry into the semi-finals.
