German Refinery Targeted by Polish Climate Ministry

Poland should get current and direct access to air quality measurement results in Schwedt due to concerns about increased sulfur dioxide emissions from a German refinery, the climate ministry said in a statement. The data is said to be important for the planned Lower Oder Valley National Park.

The Polish and German environment ministers discussed several controversial topics. Among them is the refinery in Schwedt. The Polish side demands explanations from the government of the Land of Brandenburg regarding the threats to our country.
