Georgia teen charged in Apalachee High School shooting to appear in court for plea and sentencing
A judge scheduled a plea and sentencing hearing for Colt Gray, a 16-year-old charged in the September 2024 Apalachee High School shooting in Georgia, to take place on July 24.
Colt Gray pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges related to the shooting that killed two students and two teachers and injured several others.
Gray's trial was moved to Columbia County and set for mid-October following a defense request.
Gray, who was 14 at the time, faces 55 charges including murder, cruelty to children, and aggravated assault; investigators say he planned the attack.
