George Strait to headline Death Valley concert
George Strait returns to Death Valley Nights with support from Cody Johnson and Wyatt Flores in a concert series aimed at enhancing campus life with top live music.

- As part of a revived series, Clemson Ventures partnered with Does Entertainment to relaunch Death Valley Nights, a concert series enhancing campus life with world-class events at Memorial Stadium.
- He will be joined by country artists Cody Johnson and Wyatt Flores, tickets go on sale to the public on Oct. 31 with a presale sign-up available, and Strait made the announcement official one day after an Instagram post earlier this week.
- More than 25 years later, George Strait is returning to Clemson's Memorial Stadium, where he headlined the 1999 Clemson show, and he will be honored at the Kennedy Center Honors in December and inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame in early 2026.
- Over the last several years, Strait has played a handful of stadium dates each spring and summer, most recently with Chris Stapleton, scheduling ten performances in 2024 and five shows this year.
