PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) — A portion of Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs is closed due to low visibility. According to the Palm Springs Police Department, northbound Gene Autry Trail is shut down between Salvia Road and Via Escuela. Officials say the closure was issued just after 6 a.m. Wednesday because of unsafe driving conditions. Low visibility in that area is often caused by blowing dust.
