The discussion of the text by the Members of Parliament was completed on Wednesday, and despite a "spirit of consensus" welcomed by the rapporteur, several provisions were changed in depth before the text came to the National Assembly on 1 October.
The text is intended to provide a response to the many cases of sexual violence, including child abuse, that have taken place in recent years.
The examination in the Chamber is due to begin on 1 October.

The deputies approved the text in committee this Wednesday. The bill will be considered by the National Assembly on 1 October.
The text to cover the whole chain of violence was adopted unanimously by the voters, with the exception of the RN, who abstained.
The parliamentary committee approved, on Wednesday 23 September, the comprehensive law against gender-based and sexual violence (VSS), despite the abstention of the National Rally, already discreet during the debates. The text is due to arrive in the Chamber on 1 October next.
