Google says Skills let Chrome users save and reuse Gemini prompts across webpages, with more than 50 preset workflows in a built-in library.

- Chrome product manager Hafsah Ismail explained that users previously had to re-enter identical prompts when visiting different pages, forcing manual copying or retyping of frequently used instructions.
- Users access stored prompts by typing a forward slash or clicking the plus button in the Gemini sidebar, with saved tools syncing across desktop devices and a library of more than 50 pre-built presets.
