Geely Battleship 700 SUV Will Arrive in Europe in H2 2027
The large plug-in hybrid SUV adds all-wheel-drive variants, a 233 mm ground clearance and up to 925 hp, Geely said.
- Geely officials revealed at the 2026 Paris Auto Show that the Battleship 700, also known as the Monjero, will arrive in Europe in H2 2027. This expansion marks a significant step for the automaker targeting the European market.
- While currently offering only three models, Geely has opened 100 dealerships and plans to add 30 more, following a deliberate 'Sleeping Giant' strategy of slow international growth.
- Priced from $44,990, the 2026 Geely Starray EM-i AWD features a 16-speaker, 1000-watt premium sound system and a 15.4-inch multimedia touchscreen. The Inspire variant competes in the mid-size SUV segment.
- Utilizing a Nvidia AGX Thor chip with 700 TOPS, the Battleship 700 stands on the Geely Terrain Architecture and supports Navigate On Autopilot. The top-tier model features a 2-liter engine and three e-motors producing 1,330 Nm.
- Next year, the company will enter Australia with the Battleship 700. Management remains adamant that local ride and handling tuning for Australian roads is not on the agenda soon, despite investing in vehicle technology.
