GE Aerospace Infuses Rs 100 Crore Into Pune Facility to Boost Production and Skill Development

  • With this addition, total investment in the facility reaches Rs 510 crore over three years, supporting infrastructure enhancements and process precision for critical aircraft engine components like the GE90 and GEnx.
  • "The latest upgrades will further expand the facility's capabilities and support component production across GE Aerospace's GE90, GEnx, GE9X, and CFM International's LEAP engine programmes," the release stated.
  • Vishwajit Singh, Managing Director of the Pune manufacturing facility at GE Aerospace, stated the investment reflects "long-term commitment to India and our confidence in the Pune facility's role within our global manufacturing network."
  • Operating alongside more than 300 local suppliers, the facility has trained more than 5,000 production associates at its dedicated Weld School to build India's aerospace talent pipeline.
