Images have been released showing children watching a movie at a makeshift mobile theater set up in Gaza City, Palestinian Gaza Strip. While the children are enjoying the film against a backdrop of rubble from buildings destroyed by Israeli airstrikes, the scene highlights the precarious situation where the aftermath of the war still lingers throughout the Gaza Strip.
The photographs, which you can see in the gallery below, show a group of children watching the Disney movie projected on a screen, surrounded by damaged buildings, shrapnel and displaced tents - a moment of normality at the center of a devastating scenario.
The initiative was organized by the Masharawi Fund for Films and Filmmakers, which took an outdoor film session to the children through the project "Little Wings".
