Gatik AI raises $200 million in its largest funding series
- On Tuesday, autonomous trucking startup Gatik announced it raised $200 million in Series D funding, led by Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies .
- Gatik CEO and Co-founder Gautam Narang said the investment helps scale operations beyond the trial-and-error phase, servicing Fortune 50 retailers and consumer packaged goods companies.
- With more than $600 million in contracted revenue, Gatik has completed 85,000 fully driverless orders with 99% on-time delivery, ARK Invest CEO and CIO Cathie Wood confirmed.
- The fresh capital will expand Gatik's 350-person workforce and fleet; Intact Private Capital Managing Director Justin Smith-Lorenzetti said the company possesses the 'technical maturity to be the leader in autonomous freight.'
- By the end of 2026, Gatik plans to operate more than 100 driverless trucks across Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Canada, expanding autonomous freight capacity in North America.
