The Syrian Electricity Company announced in a statement that three thermal power plants were out of service due to an explosion in a gas pipeline south of Damascus.
Following an explosion in the gas pipeline at the Tishrin power plant in Syria, three power plants were shut down. The explosion disrupted the gas supply needed to operate the plants. As a result, production also stopped at the Deir Ali and Nasiriyah power plants, in addition to Tishrin.
