The mayor of Alès (Gard), Christophe Rivenq, had had to be exfiled from his home in July by the Raid as a result of death threats. A 20-year-old young man was charged.

According to a judge of freedoms and detention, the suspect is prosecuted for association of criminal criminals with organized gangs, death threats against an elected official or possession of weapons.
