- Thursday's semi-finals pit India against Sri Lanka at 2 p.m. and Pakistan against Bangladesh at 9 a.m. local time, with tournament rules deploying a Super Over to break any ties.
- The Japan Meteorological Agency forecasts clear weather for Thursday with a 0 percent probability of precipitation, and temperatures in Nagoya are predicted between 20 and 31 degrees Celsius.
