Preorders for Galaxy S26 Series Hit 1.35 Mil. in S. Korea
Samsung Electronics reported a record 1.35 million preorders for the Galaxy S26 series, with the Ultra model making up 70% of sales in South Korea.
- On Friday, Samsung Electronics Co. said preorders for the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea reached 1,350,000, setting a new record for the flagship S series.
- The Galaxy S26 Ultra accounted for 70 percent of total preorders, featuring the built-in Privacy Display and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor with 39 percent NPU improvement.
- Orders favored white and black for premium models, with white and black most ordered for the Galaxy S26 Ultra and base Galaxy S26, while Galaxy S26+ drew stronger Cobalt Violet interest, and the report leaves the remaining 30% split unspecified.
- Activation begins Friday, with the official release on Wednesday in South Korea, the United States, Britain and India, Samsung said.
