Fury to Invite Trump to Lead Ring Walk Before Joshua Showdown
Fury said the offer is unlikely because Trump is president, and he framed the Joshua bout as a warm-up for Oleksandr Usyk.
- On December 11, Tyson Fury plans to invite President Donald Trump to join his ringwalk for his fight against Anthony Joshua in Cardiff at the 80,000-capacity Principality Stadium.
- In June, Fury met Trump at the White House wearing a "Donald Trump for Prime Minister" cap after claiming the President helped resolve United States visa issues linked to Daniel Kinahan.
- Acknowledging the President's duties, Fury said he will make the offer to his "old buddy," though "probably unlikely because of the situation he's in at the moment, being the President of the United States."
- Promoter Eddie Hearn disputes Dana White's involvement in the bout, while financier Turki Alalshikh claims he will "collaborate" with the UFC chief despite the disagreement.
- Fury insists his Joshua clash is merely preparation for a trilogy fight against Oleksandr Usyk, stating "I don't have any intention of retiring after Joshua" as he eyes a future New York City bout.
