LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) — The City of La Crosse will receive more than $805,000 in federal funding to expand the King Street Greenway.

Federal funding distributed through the state’s Department of Transportation is assisting La Crosse with one of its bicycle and pedestrian projects.   The governor’s office announced that they’re providing $805,000 to La Crosse for the final extension of the King Street Greenway project.   It’s part of the city’s bike-pedestrian plan.
