MERA Slashes Petrol, Diesel and Paraffin Prices

The Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has announced a reduction in the pump prices of petrol, diesel and paraffin, effective today, June 19, 2026. Under the new pricing structure, petrol will now sell at K5,619 per litre, down from K6,209, while diesel has dropped by 5.7 percent to K6,306 per litre from K6,687.
