On Wednesday 9 September, the price of fuels reached a new peak with an average price of 2,29 euros for diesel and 2,12 euros for SP95-E10. While Michel-Edouard Leclerc is now calling for a price cap by the state, the owner of U stores, Dominique Schelcher is not in favour of it.
As the situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate, gas prices continue to rise in France. On Wednesday, diesel sales average at 2.29 euros per litre and E10 at 2.12 euros.
