Bigstock. Microsoft and McKinsey paid up to $1,000,000 each to sponsor the so-called “USA House” during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The space functions as a private base for parallel meetings and events, outside the official program of the Forum, as part of Donald Trump’s face-to-face return to Davos after six years. Last year, more than 2,700 political and business leaders attended the World Economic Forum.
Leading American companies will finance the creation of USA House in an old church, which will become an informal hub for the American delegation at the World Economic Forum, reports the Financial Times. According to the newspaper, they were asked to contribute up to $1 million for this purpose. Donald Trump will personally visit the Swiss resort for the first time in six years.
