- At JW Marriott, FSSAI noted "improper food storage" and "cross contamination risks," while stating the hotel sold products "without the requisite endorsement in its FSSAI license."
- FSSAI collected surveillance samples of honey, ghee, and other items from both hotels for analysis, demanding immediate corrective actions and compliance reports from Juniper Hotels Pvt Ltd and Aria Hotels and Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd.
- The regulator's enforcement reflects a broader crackdown against food business operators and e-commerce platforms in recent months, with further action against the hotels to be determined based on lab reports.
