FSB Accuses Ukraine of Plotting Bomb Attack With ISIS Against Senior Officer
Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said Monday that it thwarted a planned bomb attack on a senior military officer that was allegedly organized by Ukrainian special services in coordination with the Islamic State.
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said it had foiled a suicide bombing in central Moscow, allegedly organized by Ukrainian security services in collaboration with the Islamic State (ISIS). Four people have been arrested and authorities are treating the case as an attempted terrorist attack.
In the FSB, Russia has declared the prevention of a joint terrorist attack by the special services of Ukraine and extremists of the "Islamic State" in Moscow, reporting to Russian information agencies, and three Russians and a citizen of a Central Asian country allegedly involved in the murder of General Kirillov have been detained.
In Moscow, a terrorist attack against a high-ranking military officer of the Ministry of Defence of Russia was prevented, and three Russians involved in his training were detained, as well as a Central Asian national who was to be the perpetrator, and the Ukrainian intelligence services and heads of the "Islamic State" (IS) were named as the organizers of the planned attack at the FSB.*
