Two are in hospital and are expected to be discharged today. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are no longer any open flames in Omiš, and two thousand people were evacuated from the area during the night.

"We are preparing for the possibility that we may have to evacuate many more," said Ana Stejskal, head of the Red Cross in the area.
At least 58 Hungarians had to be evacuated due to a forest fire raging on the Croatian coast: the Foreign Ministry worked all night, consuls are calling those affected one by one, while local authorities and the Red Cross are arranging for their accommodation.
