After a year of early mornings, daily chores and countless hours caring for their small animals and large livestock, hundreds of young 4-H exhibitors finally saw their hard work pay off Wednesday and Thursday as buyers packed the Covered Arena for the annual Ionia Free Fair animal auctions.
