The regime had already been in force since 1 September, but only now is the law that regulates it.
In this new regime, the rents will vary between 224 euros for a T0 in municipalities such as Aguiar da Beira, Alcanena, Alfândega da Fé, Alijó, Almeida or Alter do Chão and 2,066 euros for a T5 in Lisbon.
The regulation of the new affordable lease system, which defines the maximum income limits by typology and county, was published on Tuesday.

A decree was published this Tuesday in Diário de la República setting the maximum income limits per typology applicable under the Simplified Affordable Lease Scheme. The values of the rents may vary between 224 euros and 2,066 euros.
