- NBC pulled Joey from its Thursday slot in December 2005, moved it to Tuesdays in March 2006, and placed it on hiatus on March 7, 2006, after viewership declined from 10.2M in Season 1 to 7.1M in Season 2.
- Created by Scott Silveri and Shana Goldberg-Meehan, Joey followed Matt LeBlanc's character moving to Los Angeles with co-stars Drea de Matteo, Paulo Costanzo, Jennifer Coolidge and Andrea Anders.
- Fans in the U.S. can finally watch the show's conclusion, ending a nearly 20-year gap and completing Joey's domestic archive amid Friends' $425 million HBO Max streaming deal.
- After renewed uploads earlier this year, the full release appeared five months after the Friends official account began posting, while talk of a revival subsided after Matthew Perry's death.
