Fresno County Officials Schedule Prescribed Burn Near Shaver Lake

The U.S. Forest Service’s High Sierra Ranger District will conduct a prescribed fire near Camp Sierra, north of Shaver Lake, on Tuesday, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said. Burn piles are expected to be ignited between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., with smoke and flames visible across the Big Creek Drainage.
