Arrest warrants were issued by the French courts against the managers of the Australian video platform Kick, announced on Tuesday 27 January the Paris prosecutor's office. Streamers Naruto and Safine, partners of Jean Pormanove, died in August 2025 after 12 days of direct showing him violent and humiliated on the platform, will be tried from 6 July, also announced Tuesday the prosecution of Nice.
The Paris Public Prosecutor's Office has announced the opening of an investigation against the Kick video platform and has requested arrest warrants against its directors as part of a preliminary investigation that opened last August after the live death of the 46-year-old streamer Raphaël Graven. Known as Jean Pormanove, he died after 10 days locked in a house, emitting live fights, insults and abuses by two other influencers.
Owen C. and Safine H., two French streamers who were animating the channel "Jean Pormanove" on Kick, will be tried before the Nice Correctional Court in July, notably for incitement to hatred due to disability. In August 2025, one of the main members of the channel died live, due to health problems, confirms the prosecutor Wednesday 28 January.
