Speaking after another day of high school protests, fed by allegations of police brutality, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said France could not be 'indifferent' to students' concerns, then announced several economic measures.
Government announced an increase in the budget for education and public consultation that already has more than 40,000 contributions. Chief of Police denied statements in which he would promise "amputations".

Head of Government undertook to present "the first decisions of the Government [to respond to student claims] at the end of October".
The escalation of violence, which led to 500 arrests only on Tuesday and more than 6,500 since the beginning of the protests, inflames the revolt of students who demand concrete government responses to education.
