French Evacuee Shows Hantavirus Symptoms on Flight to Paris
Five French evacuees were isolated after one developed hantavirus symptoms on the repatriation flight, as officials said more than 90 people had been sent home.
- A passenger from the cruise ship MV Hondius showed symptoms of hantavirus while being repatriated from Tenerife to Paris on a chartered flight.
- French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said the infected passenger was among five people evacuated from the vessel following the outbreak.
