French, British, German leaders to co-chair meeting on Ukraine on Monday
Leaders are expected to approve new air-defence aid and security guarantees as Ukraine says it received 364 Patriot missiles in 2025, far below demand.

- No American representative attended the summit as Washington remains focused on its own deficit following the war on Iran, while talks on ending the war remain frozen with Moscow holding territorial and political demands that Kyiv has rejected.

Kiev, Aug 24 (EFE).- The Coalition of Volunteers, made up mainly of European countries willing to contribute to a deployment of troops in Ukraine after the end of the war, pledged on Monday to urgently strengthen Ukrainian air defences, which accuse the lack of means to counter Russian ballistic missiles.
