Frank Vogel will be getting a promotion to join Jason Kidd and the Mavericks' staff as an assistant coach. Kidd was, coincidentally, the assistant coach for Frank Vogel and the Lakers from 2019 to 2021. Both Kidd and Vogel brought an NBA championship ring to Los Angeles in 2020.
