The most likely winner of the upcoming French presidential elections, Marín Le Pen, stated that she was ready to continue to supply Ukraine with the weapons it needed to protect its weapons and to continue training programmes for U.S. military personnel, but opposed the provision of financial resources to Kiev.
Marine Le Pen, RN candidate for President of France in 2027, says that the state of public finances no longer allows Paris to offer Ukraine financial support at the current level.

"This is not an act of hostility towards Ukraine. We can continue to train their soldiers, their armies; we can continue to provide them with equipment so they can defend themselves," the co-leader of the French far-right National Rally (RN) party, Marine Le Pen, said on Sept. 16.
Marin Le Pen stated that because of the difficult financial situation, France was no longer in a position to maintain Ukraine at the current level; however, it did not exclude military assistance.
The candidate of the National Rally confirmed what her spokesman said a few days ago: if he comes to power, the far right party intends to "cut off the tap" of aid intended for Ukraine.
