France: Support for Journalist Christophe Gleizes Gathered in Bataclan to Demand His Release

Christophe Gleizes has been imprisoned in Algeria for seven months. The French sports journalist is serving a seven-year prison sentence for "apology of terrorism". A conviction, confirmed on appeal, which follows his arrest in May 2024, while he was investigating a kabyle football club. On Thursday 29 January, his supporters gathered, at the call of the NGO Reporters Without Borders, in the Bataclan concert hall in Paris.
