Meteo-France in France has announced an orange alert for 12 departments due to the risk of hail and heavy rainfall. The alert, effective from 6 PM local time, includes Charente, Deux-Sevres, and Indre-et-Loire.

Weather France has placed 12 north-west departments in orange storm watch this Wednesday 26 August in the evening. Hailstones up to 5 cm, gusts at 100 km/h and heavy rains are expected between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m.
