- Officials are asking residents to limit outdoor watering, take short showers, and turn off taps while brushing teeth, while the city suspends continuous pipe flushing and street washing.
- Alan Desousa, a member of the city's executive committee, noted officials could introduce a complete watering ban and step up enforcement if the situation becomes critical during repair work.
