FPL planning grid improvements in Northwest Florida | Santa Rosa Press Gazette

The upgrades focus on two of the most common causes of power outages, overgrown vegetation along power lines and aging utility poles. FPL also is trying to expand the company’s use of underground lines and smart grid technology.
