A small child (4) was hit by a tram on Prague's Karlovo náměstí on Tuesday afternoon. All units of the integrated rescue system rushed to the scene. The child was treated while conscious and then taken to a trauma center. The circumstances of the accident are now being investigated by the police.

Two serious accidents involving trams and pedestrians were dealt with by Prague police on Tuesday afternoon. A four-year-old girl was hit by a tram on Karlovo náměstí, and a seventeen-year-old girl was hit by a tram on Švehlova Street. Both pedestrians survived the accident and ended up in the care of Prague hospitals.
