- Four in 10 men consider themselves 'full of testosterone', a poll of 2,000 men commissioned by Leger Clinic via OnePoll.com found 74 per cent link testosterone to sex drive.
- Only 16 per cent correctly know testosterone begins to fall in the thirties, while 68 per cent would take a free check but only 18 per cent have spoken to health professionals, OnePoll.com found.
- 58 per cent of men said low testosterone would harm their life, 61 per cent would change lifestyle, and Dr Doug Savage framed it as affecting more than sex drive, the Leger Clinic found.
- 36 per cent of men said they fear relationship damage, with 28 per cent feeling 'failing as a man' and almost a quarter seeing their testosterone as below average, prompting Leger Clinic's advice to get tested and research options.
