Planning for this weekend’s Fireweed Festival in Fort Smith started last September, almost right after the 2025 edition came to an end. Organizers had to stay ahead of the game, after all, this small Northern community had 1,000 people turn out to the festival on Saturday and 800 on Sunday last year.
