Former WWE Star Enzo Calls Out Exploitative Timing Of Recently Released Interview - Wrestling Inc.
Enzo Amore said Maven posted a year-old interview to draw attention after AEW’s tribute to PAC, while people were still grieving.
- On Monday, former WWE star Enzo Amore criticized AEW for leaking backstage fight details, contrasting the promotion's culture with his experience in WWE where such incidents remained private.
- Amore alleged the interview was recorded in March 2025, accusing Maven of releasing the footage to capitalize on the recent tribute show for late AEW star PAC, a close friend of Amore's.
- Visual evidence from an appearance on "No Contest Wrestling" last week supports Amore's claim, as he sported a longer beard than in the interview, where he blasted AEW for "bitch-ass fighting."
- Maven has not responded to the accusations as of Monday, while Amore stated he remains grieving the loss of his close friend Ben, whom the wrestling community recently honored.
- Amore, a former WWE star who rose to prominence alongside Big Cass, has recently faced scrutiny for his comments regarding professional standards in modern wrestling locker rooms.
