Former Strictly star Ellie Taylor new It Takes Two host
The comedian will front a new-look companion show with Strictly costume designer Vicky Gill as the BBC adds fresh features and alumni panels.
On Saturday, broadcaster Emma Willis announced on BBC Radio 2 that comedian Ellie Taylor will host Strictly: It Takes Two, replacing Janette Manrara and Fleur East.
Taylor previously competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2022, partnering with professional dancer Johannes Radebe and finishing in 7th place before elimination in week 10.
Strictly: It Takes Two Executive Producer Rhe-an Archibald stated the show is "reinvented for the 2026 season," featuring new alumni panels and group discussions at Elstree Studios.
BBC Commissioning Editor Helen Munson thanked Manrara and East, calling them "a massive part of It Takes Two's continued success," while the main series debuts with hosts Willis, Johannes, and Josh Widdicombe.
The franchise refresh includes five new professional dancers and replaces main show presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman ahead of the 2026 series return to BBC One in September.
