Former St. Mary's Residential School in Mission to be demolished
The Stó:lō Collective says hazardous materials and deteriorating buildings make the site unsafe, and a proposed Interpretive Centre is planned for 2028.
- The Mary Residential School on Lougheed Highway in Mission is scheduled for full demolition in 2027. According to a notice from the Collective shared on Sept 5, a proposed Interpretive Centre is projected to open on the site in 2028.
